Booking and Payment Details
- Reservations for vehicle hire can be completed via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Wimbledon office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are usually required upon vehicle pickup. All charges are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, ensuring secure transactions through trusted payment processors.
4. Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- Upon collecting your vehicle in Wimbledon, it is important to conduct a thorough inspection and report any pre-existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be prepared for your review and signature. Please return the vehicle in the same condition as received, taking into account normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and charged appropriately. Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities or purposes. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or engaging in other hazardous actions. Transporting dangerous materials, sub-letting to others, or allowing unauthorized individuals to drive the vehicle is prohibited. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, exceeding passenger or weight limits, and operating outside designated geographical boundaries without proper authorization are also not allowed.
Breach of terms may lead to rental cancellation and fees.
Liability Limitations in Wimbledon
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Wimbledon will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the total amount you paid for your rental within the past year.
